Breeze

Like a playful spirit 
The warm breeze breaks into my room 
Drifting through the open window 
Soothing my shoulders 
Ruffling my hair 
Filling my head with the scent of summer 

Intoxicated 
I turn and look outside 
From where she came 
And see her playing wildly with the petals on the uncut grass 
Making a million smiles 
In endless shades of pink on green 
Laughing to herself 
And at the world
